The company grew out of Rod Vivar's years in the electrical trade and his desire to build a company around quality work, straightforward pricing, practical problem-solving, and straight talk.
Instead of building a high-pressure sales office, Rod focused on developing genuine technical competence across residential, commercial, and industrial electrical applications.
Rod's background spans the full spectrum of the electrical industry: service calls, diagnostic troubleshooting, panel upgrades, commercial construction, and industrial projects.
When an electrical problem proves difficult for other electricians, Rod draws on deep trade experience to methodically isolate the root cause.

Rod served 16 months as Superintendent / MRE on major industrial solar installations. His responsibilities included critical preconstruction coordination directly with utility providers like Southern California Edison and LADWP.
That experience gives Rod a strong understanding of utility requirements and complex electrical systems, which he brings to the work Infinity Electric does today.
